Work and the stress

We had a big change at work as we moved from a building that is 2 miles from my house to Provo that is like 15 miles away. This first sucks, and to make it worse I was supposed to move on a Wednesday and they ended up moving my computer on a Tuesday. I care pool with 2 other people. So one person was at the old building and 2 were at the new building. So I talked to the super super lousy director of customer service about it and got it so we could all go down to the new building. He also informed me that my computer was givin to someone else. I have been using this computer since I started and had the person that deals with the computers hook me up with 2 19 inch monitors and a graphics card to support them. This made me very mad and I bitched out the director of customer service.

So the next day when I go to work I have my new computer and it is a total piece of shit. It has one 17inch square monitor and is running a ubuntu LDAP configuration that crashes all the time. It crashed so much that it wouldn’t connect to the LDAP anymore. This making my computer worthless. So the next day I installed Ubunutu by it self on the computer since I don’t share my desk with anyone. Since installing it has worked a lot better for me. It is really annoying to have to from one application to another with out having the one with the information on the other screen. I help other techs out all day with scripting questions and it is slowing me down a lot. It is very very frustrating. I think they made a bad choice in making this guy the director. The move was horribly disorganized and we didn’t know what was going on until the last minute.

That is my bitching and moaning for work. I had a good new years and just been chillin with my girl friend since then. I really, really hope work fixes it shit because they are not making it a fun place to work for anyone that works there.
